Notice of Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (“Maynilad”), concessionaire of Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (“MWSS”) providing water and sewerage services to the West Zone of the Greater Manila Area, composed of the cities of Manila (certain portions), Quezon City (certain portions), Makati (west of South Super Highway), Caloocan, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela, Navotas and, Malabon, all in Metro Manila; the cities of Cavite, Bacoor and Imus, and the towns of Kawit, Noveleta, and Rosario, all in the province of Cavite will conduct a Public Hearing relative to its Application for Extension of its 18 May 2021 Revised Concession Agreement (“RCA”) with the MWSS. The application seeks the extension of the expiration date of the RCA from 6 May 2037 to 21 January 2047, to coincide with the term of Maynilad’s 25-year legislative franchise.
The Public Hearing will be held on 4 December 2023, 10:00 AM, Luna and Hidalgo Function Rooms World Trade Center in Pasay City and via Zoom Webinar Platform. Interested parties who wish to join the Public Hearing are hereby requested to register via this https://bit.ly/MWSI-RCA-PublicHearing or the QR code below. The Public Hearing will be livestreamed and be accessible to the public via the Facebook page of the MWSS Regulatory Office (“MWSS RO”).
