West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) won five Silvers at the 58th Anvil Awards held recently at the Manila Marriot Hotel in Pasay City.
Maynilad received three Silver Anvil awards under the Public Relations (PR) Tools Category for its “Mayni-LAD to the Rescue!” Wastewater Video Episode 5 and “Sagot ni Kuya Dong” NEW WATER Facebook Videos (Multimedia – Social Media Tool), and “Alab CXRO Midyear Rally 2022” (Special Events and Exhibits).
The water company also bagged Silvers under the Specialized PR Programs Category for its “Sobriedad Pipe Realignment Information Campaign” and “Pipe Breakage at Pureza: Managing the Public Backlash” program (Crisis/Risk Communication for Private and Public Sector).

Touted as the local “Oscars of Public Relations”, the Anvil Awards is organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines, and is the symbol of excellence in public relations in the country. It is awarded by a distinguished multi-sectoral jury to outstanding PR programs and tools designed and implemented in the past year.
