MAYNILAD WATER SERVICE ADVISORY (April 16, 2018, Monday)

As of yesterday, April 15 (Sunday), Maynilad’s La Mesa Treatment Plants received an average of 2,350 million liters per day (MLD) of raw water. This is still 10 MLD short of our 60% allocation of raw water, but is better than the 50-MLD allocation shortfall since April 1.
 
With this improved supply, Maynilad has begun the process of refilling its Bagbag Reservoir, which got depleted last April 12 following the extended shortfall in Maynilad’s raw water allocation.
 
If this improvement in supply allocation is sustained, it will take another two days for Maynilad to fill up the reservoir and build pressure in the pipelines. Consequently, some Maynilad customers will still experience low pressure to no water supply today, April 16, until tomorrow, April 17.
 
The company is doing system adjustments so that the service interruption will be kept between the off-peak hours of 10 p.m. (of April 16) and 4 a.m. (of April 17). For the list of affected areas, please visit Maynilad’s Facebook page.
 
Maynilad customers in these areas are advised to store water during times of the day when supply is available. Maynilad has water tankers on standby, ready to deliver water upon request. We apologize for the inconvenience.
