West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) recently signed an agreement with Manila Mayor and concurrent Museo Pambata Chairman Alfredo Lim and Executive Director Na. Marcella Montero to refurbish the Museum’s wash rooms and install water education walls.
We believe that Museo Pambata is a key cultural and educational institution for the youth of Manila. Through this partnership with them, we hope to impart the importance of protecting our water resources to children at an early age, said Maynilad President and CEO Ricky Vargas.
Maynilad is owned and managed by DMCI-MPIC Water Company, Inc., a joint venture between Metro Pacific Investments Corporation and DMCI Holdings, Inc. It serves the West Zone of the Greater Manila Area, which is composed of the cities of Manila (all but portions of San Andres & Sta Ana), Quezon City (west of San Juan River, West Avenue, EDSA, Congressional, Mindanao Avenue, the northern part starting from the Districts of the Holy Spirit & Batasan Hills), Makati (west of South Super Hi-way), Caloocan, Pasay, Paranaque, Las Pinas, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela, Navotas and Malabon all in Metro Manila; Cavite City, and the towns of Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Noveleta and Rosario, all in Cavite Province.
