For the second straight year, Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) sponsored DZMM’s Takbo Para sa Kalikasan, one of the biggest and most successful running events in the country. The event, which is on its 11th year, was held last February 28 at the Quirino Grandstand in the City of Manila.
Part of Maynilad’s commitment is to set-up drinking stations in strategic locations along Roxas Boulevard, so participants and spectators can have free potable water during the race.
Members of the Maynilad Fun Run Club joined the run alongside some of the water company’s top officials. Maynilad president Rogelio L. Singson led the Maynilad team in one of the event categories.
This year’s Takbo Para sa Kalikasan will benefit the Pasig River Rehabilitation project through ABS-CBN Foundation Inc.’s Bantay Kalikasan.
