West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. (Maynilad) recently held a strategic planning conference with the Valenzuela City government to discuss plans and programs aimed at improving water and wastewater services in the city. Maynilad and the Valenzuela LGU also aligned on planned road projects so that the impact to traffic can be minimized, and project completion will be faster. This initiative established the parties’ commitment to work together and support the city’s economic growth.
Maynilad is set to hold similar planning sessions with other city officials within its concession area, so that its capital expenditure projects are aligned with the local governments’ future plans.
