As a public service activity for Holy Week, West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) deployed water stations in Intramuros, Manila, and in Brgy. Bangkal, Makati, for the benefit of the thousands of pilgrims who visit these areas for Visita Iglesia, Pabasa, and other Holy Week-related activities.
The water company also set up a water station for the consumption of Holy Week commuters at the Araneta Center Bus Station, in support of the “Rescue 5 First-Aid and Public Assistance Station” of TV5 News and Information Department.
“We wish to make this season a more comfortable one for our countrymen, as they prepare to go to their respective provinces or visit churches during the Holy Week. Providing these water stations to keep them hydrated is our simple way of giving support,” said Maynilad President and CEO Ramoncito S. Fernandez.
