West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) won five Gold awards and six Silver awards at the recently concluded 53rd Anvil Awards, dubbed as the “Oscars of Public Relations”, held at the Shangri-La Hotel at The Fort in Taguig City.
Maynilad was given Gold Anvil Awards for its “Lingkod Eskwela” advocacy initiative under the Public Relations (PR) Programs Division; and its “Ripples” company newsletter, “Maynilad Media Run” media engagement event, “Dakilang Manggagawa Awards” employee engagement event, and for the corporate video “Mayni-LAD to the Rescue! Wastewater Video” under the PR Tools Division.
Maynilad also won Silver Anvil Awards for its “Green Badge” and “Daloy Dunong” advocacy programs, for “Maynilad Simpleng Ginhawa” and “Maynilad 10th Anniversary” videos and for PR programs “Wastewater Social Media Campaign” and “Maynilad 10th Anniversary Campaign.”
“We take these recognitions given by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) as an inspiration to continue our pursuit of excellence in the implementation of our various communications, advocacy and engagement initiatives,” said Maynilad President and CEO Ramoncito S. Fernandez.
The Anvil Awards, organized by the PRSP, is the symbol of excellence in public relations in the Philippines. It is awarded by a distinguished multi-sectoral jury to outstanding PR programs and tools designed and implemented in the past year.
