West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) donated over 400 pieces of five-gallon water jugs to the fire victims in Barangay 201, Zone 20, Kalayaan, Pasay City.
In the photo, two of the fire victims are carrying a water jug filled with potable water from a Maynilad tanker stationed in the area. Over 400 families have been displaced by
the fire that occurred last July 27 and are now being sheltered temporarily in the barangay’s covered court.
“Isa po sa pangunahing kailangan ng mga nasunugan ang malinis na tubig. Taos pusong nagapapasalamat ang pamunuan ng Barangay
201 sa kabutihan ng Maynilad na nagbigay kaagad ng tulong sa mga biktima ng sunog,” said Barangay 201 Zone 20 Chairman James Bontilao.
“Maynilad strives to provide assistance whenever it can, especially to victims of calamity whose immediate need usually includes potable water,” said Maynilad President and CEO Ramoncito S. Fernandez.
