West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc (Maynilad) is offering septic tank cleaning services to its residential and semi-business customers this March in select parts of Caloocan, Malabon, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque, Pasay, Valenzuela, Quezon City, and in Cavite province at no extra cost.
Maynilad President and CEO Ramoncito S. Fernandez said that Maynilad’s sanitation program lessens pollution loading into river systems that empty out to Manila Bay, “We offer this desludging service in areas that are not covered by our existing sewer network. Availing of this service will prevent harmful effluents from being released to the environment and posing a hazard to community health. We urge our customers to avail.”
Maynilad customers residing in Barangays 1 to 3, 5 to 7, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 33 to 35, 37, 152, 154, 160, 163 to 165, 167, 171, 177, 178, 180 and 185 to 187 in Caloocan; Bayan-bayanan, Hulong Duhat, Ibaba, Longos, Muzon, Panghulo and Potrero in Malabon; Bignay, Lingunan and Punturin in Valenzuela; Apolonio Samson, Bungad, Kaligayahan, Paltok and San Antonio in Quezon City; and in the areas of Merville, San Jose and San Rafael in Pasay may avail of this cleaning service, which normally costs around Php 5,000 per truck.
Customers in the south may also avail of this service, particularly those from: Talon Uno, Kuatro and Singko in Las Piñas; Sucat in Muntinlupa; San Antonio, San Dionisio, San Isidro and Santo Niño in Parañaque; Ligas I to III, Mambog I, Molino II and VII, Niog II and III, Queens Row Central, Queens Row East and San Nicolas III in Bacoor, Cavite; and Alapan I-A to I-C in Imus, Cavite.
