Starting April 1, 2023, our customers in portions of Caloocan, Las Piñas, Malabon, Manila, Parañaque, Pasay and Valenzuela, in Metro Manila and Bacoor, Cavite City, Kawit, Imus, Noveleta, and Rosario, in Cavite Province will have NEW daily water service interruption schedules.
Maynilad has been getting less than its required volume of raw water supply from the Novaliches Portal over the past few months. To address this shortfall, we have been augmenting supplies through a “cross-portal” sharing arrangement with Manila Water. However, this is no longer possible, as the water elevation at La Mesa Dam is now also declining.
Given this, we are constrained to implement this new schedule of daily service interruptions starting April 1, 2023 until further notice.
Affected customers are advised to keep enough water stored for your needs during the hours when supply will not be available. Please keep stored water in clean, covered containers.
Upon resumption of water service, please expect some discoloration in the supply. This is a normal consequence of service interruptions, as the returning supply scours the naturally occurring mineral deposits inside the pipelines. When this happens, let the water flow out briefly until it clears, but use the initial flow of water for non-drinking purposes, such as for flushing toilets.
In case needed, our mobile water tankers are on standby ready to deliver potable water.
