MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs physical, chemical, biological, microbiological and special analysis in all samples collected from the area of assignment and other applicable points within Maynilad influence.
- Interpret and relay results to ensure that the control parameters are met in producing finished water quality in accordance or better than the Philippine National Standards of Drinking Water set values.
- Prepares, standardizes and ensures accuracy of reagent chemicals required for analysis to ensure that Process Control operation complies with the requirements of the IMS.
- Analyzes treatment chemicals submitted for bidding and those delivered before acceptance.
- Monitors, accepts and records Process Control chemical reagents and supplies and updates inventory after withdrawal and consumption.
- Monitors, verifies and calibrates equipment used in the process control analysis.
- Assists WSO Officer, Process Engineering and other internal customers in conducting research and development studies related to treatment plant process.
- Provides related support to Department’s CAPEX projects.
- Implements Integrated Management System’s programs, activities, procedures and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL LICENSES
- Graduate of Chemistry
- Must be a Licensed Chemist
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Preferably with one (1) to three (3) years of related work experience
