The International Association of Business Communicators Philippines (IABC Philippines) recognized eight communication initiatives of West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) during the 19th Philippine Quill Awards held recently online.
Maynilad received Awards of Excellence for its “Project STREAM” process improvement program under the Change Communication category, and advocacy campaign “Spreading the Gospel of Proper Handwashing” under the Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communications category.
The water company also received Merit Awards for its digital campaigns and tools, namely: “Pay Your Way: Maynilad’s Digital Payment Push”, “Taking the Discussion on Wastewater Management and Sanitation Online”, Maynilad Simpleng Ginhawa Videos, and “Mayni-LAD to the Rescue!” Wastewater Digital Campaign Video Series Part 4.
The company’s official newsletter, Ripples, and issues management campaign “Effects of Typhoon Ulysses on Maynilad Operations” also earned Awards of Merit.

Awarded by the IABC, the Philippine Quill is the foremost mark of excellence in business communication, and recognizes the most effective and innovative communication initiatives in the country.
