MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares monthly bank reconciliation statements and supporting schedules with corresponding journal entries
- Prepares month-end closing entries for accounts receivable and revenue-related transactions, concessionaires’ loans, service concession assets and payable, right-of-use assets and lease liabilities, month-end accruals, and other journal entries as required
- Computes the expected credit losses on a quarterly basis
- Computes the capitalizable borrowing costs on a quarterly basis
- Prepares and submits monthly and quarterly financial reports and schedules to end-users, MWSS Regulatory Office and other stakeholders
- Provides accurate and reliable audit schedules to external auditors, responds to external auditors’ inquiries and participates in process walkthroughs
- Ensures timeliness, completeness and accuracy of submitted reports properly reconciled with the trial balance
- Prepares Statement of Account (SOA) or Sales Invoice (SI) upon request
- Ensures proper and accurate recording of Non-regulated Business (NRB) transactions of the company, prepares and submits corresponding NRB report and monitoring
- Provides supporting documents and schedules for the Rate Rebasing exercise as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant
WORK EXPERIENCE
- No experience is required. Fresh graduates and newly licensed CPAs are encourage to apply.
