Maynilad upgrades pipe network in Manila

| Water concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) will upgrade its pipe network in Manila by replacing the existing 600mm gate valve with a new butterfly valve along Blumentritt corner Rizal Avenue in Manila. The activity is expected to improve water pressure in parts of Manila aside from efficiently managing the water supply in the West Zone. The service improvement project will take place on September 9, from 9 p.m. to 1 p.m. of September 10, and interrupt water services in the areas bounded by Rizal Avenue, Old Antipolo, Felix Huertas, and Tayuman including Avida Tower (Brgys. 344 to 349); and the areas bounded by Rizal Avenue, New Antipolo, and Dimasalang (Brgys. 363 to 382) in Manila. Maynilad is advising customers in these areas to store enough water for the duration of the service improvement project.
