Bids are solicited for supplies or services through the issuance of Invitation to Bid. The bidder can secure the form at Maynilad's Purchasing office or downloading from this webpages. In case of international competitive bidding, bid invitations may be published in a newspaper of general circulation.Maynilad reserves the right not to invite or reject vendor who has previously failed to complete contracts of similar nature.
Delivery Preference
Vendors shall quote FOB Maynilad site (in Philippine peso and inclusive of VAT) for items acquired locally. PRICE VALIDITY : At least 30 days from date of submission of bid. COD offers will not be considered
Payment Terms
Each scheduled delivery shall be paid not later than thirty (30 ) days upon receipt of delivery by Maynilad or upon submission of all documents needed in the processing of payment. Payment shall be subject to deduction of 1% of the total contract amount (before VAT), as per BIR requirement. A Certificate of Tax Withheld (BIR Form No. 2307 shall be given to the supplier upon release of check.
Delivery Dates
Unless already specified, the bidder should always state the definite number of days for delivery. The time required for delivery is an important factor in determining who will be awarded the bid.
Technical Specification
Unless specified, all supplies shall be as per MWSI Technical Specification. Documentation can be obtained at Maynilad's Purchasing office.
Quality Control
Delivered items shall be subject to verification/testing prior to final acceptance. Each delivery shall be accompanied by Certificate of Quality Compliance (CQC). Please refer to the attached CQC requirements. Rejected deliveries shall be pulled-out and replace by the supplier at his own expense.
Submission of Bids
The bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope on or before the bid due date and time at Maynilad's Purchasing office. The bid reference number clearly stated.
Bid Evaluation & Award
Maynilad reserves the right to award the contract to the vendor who meets the specification requirements and who submits the most favorable offer.
