Groundbreaking of Maynilad's 2,000-mm primary line for south
A section of the 2,000-mm primary line, which will connect the Espiritu Pumping Station in Manila to the Pasay Pumping Station, is laid on the ground by Maynilad officials led by President Rogelio L. Singson (right) during groundbreaking rites at Singalong St., Malate, Manila. The 4.40-kilometer steel pipeline will help to increase operational capacity and improve water pressure to areas in the south portion of Maynilad's West Concession. Joining Singson in the groundbreaking held last May 15, 2008 are (from right) MWSS senior deputy administrator Macra Cruz, Manila city engineer Armando Andres, Luisa Ching who represented Manila vice mayor Isko Moreno, MWSS-RO official Estrella Zaldivar, and other Maynilad and Manila barangay officials.
