West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) plans to expand its customer reach by 53,000 accounts this year. The company is investing around P500 million to connect the additional accounts which will come mostly from Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Noveleta and Rosario – all in the province of Cavite. The rest will come from Muntinlupa, Las Pinas, Paranaque and Pasay.
Around 70 kilometers of primary pipes and more than 80 kilometers of secondary pipes will be laid by Maynilad to be able to expand its distribution network in the said areas. The pipe-laying projects will generate almost 2,000 jobs.
“We are committed to serving all the residents and establishments in our concession area. We are doing everything we can to reach even the farthest point in the West Zone,” said Maynilad president and CEO Ricky Vargas.
