BioGrow is an organic material that supplies nutrients needed by plants for growth.
It is generally referred to as biosolids. Biosolids are the solids/sludges removed from raw septage after processing it in a septage treatment plant.
Raw septage collected by vacuum tankers from domestic customers is processed in a treatment facility to separate the solids from the wastewater.

Maynilad, through the Fertilizers and Pesticides Authority (FPA) -accredited researchers of the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), developed a sanitation scheme of septage and biosolids disposal on sugarcane farms in Central Luzon.
Laboratory analysis of Maynilad biosolids showed its potential in supplying the nutrient and water requirements of sugarcane and other fruit-bearing trees, and improving soil fertility without polluting the environment.

K – 0.03% Potassium
The research proved that the utilization of biosolids on agricultural land provides the essential elements needed by plants, improved soil fertility and is environment-friendly.
Directions for Application:
Sugarcane
5 tons of BioGrow /hectare
Apply BioGrow by broadcasting separately or pre-mixed along the furrows during planting or top-dressed along the off-barred sides of the standing crop (plant cane and ratoons) when soil moisture is adequate.
Trees (Supplemental Dose)
1 kg of BioGrow/tree, 3 years old or less and;
1.5 kg of BioGrow/tree, more than 3 years old
Apply BioGrow on 6”-8” wide and 8”-10” deep ring excavation 3-5 ft. away from the base of the plant.
Safety Precautions and Proper Handling of BioGrow:
1. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after contact with BioGrow
2. Avoid touching face, mouth, eyes, nose, genitalia, or open sores and cuts.
3. Flush eyes thoroughly, but gently, if biosolids contact eyes
