MAYNILAD Water is upgrading its pipe network in Manila as part of its continuous effort to improve service, resulting in a temporary water supply interruption in some areas starting from 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2008, until 6 a.m., Friday, November 21, 2008.
The service improvement project involves the repair of a leaking pressure-regulating valve on the 300-mm ACP mainline along Sobriedad corner Batanes St. in Sampaloc, Manila.
This will result in a temporary water service interruption in Barangays 536, 537, 540, 532, 533, 534, 535, 539 and 554 in Sampaloc, Manila.
It will likewise result in low pressure to no water in Barangays 521, 522, 523, 524, 525, 626, 527 and 528 in Sampaloc, Manila.
Maynilad is advising residents in these areas to store water good for the duration of the water service interruption. They may also call Maynilad Water Hotline 1626.
